The 64-year-old appeared at Lincoln Crown Court for a preliminary hearing today, where he wore a grey jumper and jogging bottoms.

Greene was arrested soon after emergency services were called to the bay-fronted terraced house, where his grandson lived, shortly before Christmas.
During a twelve-minute hearing in court today, he appeared flanked by two security officers and nodded when asked to confirm his name. For much of the hearing he sat with his head in his hands.
No pleas were entered during the hearing and there was no application for bail and there were no family members present for the hearing.
