Beyoncé tops Forbes most powerful celebrities list beating husband Jay Z and billionaire businessman Dr Dre

They do not call her Queen B for nothing.

Beyoncé has been named the most powerful celebrity in the world on Forbes' annual Celebrity 100 list.

The 32-year-old has her massive tour to thank for helping her beat out LeBron James, Dr Dre and even Oprah.

According to Forbes, the star amassed a small fortune from her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour 2014 which made on average an amazing $2.4 million at each one of its 95 stops.

That combined with a number one self-titled album - which reached the top with little promotion - and a platinum single Drunk In Love cemented her status.

But not only is she the top celebrity and top female celebrity, she is also one half of the most powerful celebrity couple.

According to Daily Mail UK, An extreme body artist has taken piercing to a hole new level after creating giant flesh tunnels in his cheeks.

Pictured blowing smoke through his newly acquired modifications, Joel Miggler, 23, from Küssaberg, Germany, began experimenting with body modifications at the tender age of 13.

Since then, he has acquired a grand total of 27 different piercings, as well as six tattoos, an implant and has even had his buttock branded.

His obsession with body modifications first began after stretching his earlobes and has now spent over £4,000 altering his body.

As his piercings became more and more extreme, Mr Miggler eventually had two huge 36mm holes created into the side of his cheeks but plans to eventually stretch them to 40mm.

This 28 year old Olympian and five-time U.S. national champion Alysia Montano ran an 800m race at the Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California.
Alysia received a standing ovation after completing the race in 2 minutes, 32.13 seconds, 35 seconds slower than her personal best of 1:57.34, which she smashed back in 2010 in a race in Monaco.

    "I've been running throughout my pregnancy and I felt really, really good during the whole process.' she said after the race.

According to Reuben Abati, the President's spokesman said the president is on his way to Nigeria now after the Bomb blast on Abuja yesterday..

 "President Jonathan withdraws from the 23rd Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of States and Government in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea due to the Bomb blast in Wuse 2, Abuja. We are heading back to Nigeria now as he was away for the summit when the unfortunate incident occurred."

The summit was supposed to end on the 27th of June...

21 killed in Nigeria after bomb tears through crowded shopping district

At least 21 people have been killed and 17 injured after a bomb exploded in the Nigerian capital Abuja.

The blast tore through a crowded shopping district in the city on Wednesday, police said.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the bomb and no one claimed responsibility.

However, militant Islamist group Boko Haram has increasingly targeted civilians in its bloody five-year insurgency.

Missing Plane flying from Nigeria to Gabon missing

A four-seater plane flying from Nigeria to Gabon via Cameroon has gone missing. 

The plane, owned by US company, Global Aviation, took off from Kano Airport around 6pm yesterday Monday June 23rd and was billed to make a stop over at Doula Cameroon before continuing to Gabon to arrive at 11pm but it never arrived at Doula, Cameroonian Aviation authorities have said. Only an American pilot was on-board.

An official who remained anonymous reveals that the aircraft had been handed over to the Cameroonian authorities before the incident occurred.

The Gabon Aviation authorities say the last contact they had with the plane was when it was in Mongo which is a 2-hour flight from the Cameroonian economic capital. Search & Rescue operation has so far not yielded any result but the search operation still continues.
