My African Style - By Angel Ojukwu

Omamoda: Dreams do come true – From childhood I had always loved fashion and wanted it my own way, to stand out beautiful.

I have always created my own style; most times I make fashion choices for friends and family.

After having studied engineering and had the opportunity to practice, I still find myself falling back to my “own dreams”.

Anywhere I go I bring in my African style, I showcase it, I live it and I am proud of it. I started to sketch out designs; I then make them and try them on. People around me would commend positively, and then I started to make money from it.

Passion for fashion was inherited for me, anyone who knows me would tell you I look my best everyday- You only live once after all(YOLO).

Life is a mixture of different moments of action and inaction. All of life’s moments I put into my creation, every mood I found myself at a particular time reflects on the designs (playful, happy, work, relaxing or holiday).

Also my journey in life has influenced my fashion sense. I mix the western style and African styles to enable anyone/everyone rock it – Afro-western design.
