The White House is to consider deporting Justin Bieber from the United States of America after more than 100,000 US citizens signed a petition in a bid to get him out of the country.
An appeal, entitled "Deport Justin Bieber and revoke his green card", was posted on an official US government website and the plea was flooded with support after the singer was arrested for drag-racing, driving under the influence and resisting arrest without violence in Miami.
A statement on the plea reads: "We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture.

"We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth.
"We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."
The petition had more than 106,000 signatures by 6:00pm on Wednesday and the number was quickly rising.
The Obama administration promises to take into consideration any petition which 100,000 people have signed.
