She recently split from her longtime boyfriend, Jason Derulo.
But Jordin Sparks seemed far from heartbroken, as she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday.
Instead, the 24-year-old singer looked better than ever, beaming in a sexy burgundy thigh-high-slit dress that showcased her sculpted legs.
The Battlefield crooner paired her long-sleeved mullet-style frock with nude T-strap stilettos and a simple black wristlet.
Jordin also opted to appear carefree by styling her long brunette locks in curls.
And she spruced up her appearance by sporting a full face of make-up which was of neutral tones to go with her fall-inspired look.
When asked how she was holding up, the American Idol alum played it cool by responding, 'I’m good, actually,' and even hinted that she had moved on already.
The beauty continued, 'The funny thing is that I read this book the other day. Actually, it was yesterday. It said when something unexpected happens in your life or you think something bad is happening, just say "plot twist" and move on.'
Jordin had been promoting her upcoming action film Left Behind.
And the Talk Dirty hitmaker had much more to say about the split, revealing, 'What happened...in a nutshell, there was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons... There was a lot of pressures of marriage.'
He added, 'There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time. When you stop having more good times than bad bad times, it’s time to call it quits. It becomes something that is unhealthy.'
Backtracking a little, he clarified: 'To be fair, it was not just from her either,' he added of the pressures of marriage. 'It was kind of from everybody. That’s not the sole reason, but it definitely played a part.'
Jason again reiterated that cheating played no part in the split and added that they aren't quite on speaking terms yet.
'I wouldn't say good terms, I'll be lying if I said that, but it’s not a bad situation. There’s no bad blood. We didn’t end off on a weird way or a negative way.'
