Mario Balotelli is forking out £1,000-a-week in maintenance for his daughter.
He spends the weekend with 22-month-old Pia and has posted a string of touching snaps on Instagram of the girl with the message: “Nothing better that (sic) spend time with your own daughter!”
Model Raffaella Fico, 26, who gave birth to Pia in Naples, had a bitter feud with Mario after the girl was born.
She told an Italian magazine two months after the birth: “Mario is irresponsible and doesn’t care about his daughter or me.
“He may be ‘worth more than the Mona Lisa,’ but he hasn’t put aside a cent for his daughter. At a certain point, he stopped showing any interest in me or our daughter.”

But Liverpool’s £16million forward appeared to have a complete change of heart after a paternity test earlier this year proved he was Pia’s dad.
He revealed details of the test results on Twitter, writing: “Finally the TRUTH :-)...PIA ... Sweet child of mine !!! your Dad.”
