A tricycle driver allegedly sold for kids for N20,000 each to a ritualist. According to newsmen, the guy is a family friend who had been driving the kids to and fro from school for the past six months.
The commercial tricycle allegedly took the 4 kids from school last Friday at about 2.30pm but disappeared with the kids to a ritualist den. The parent who waited in vain for the arrival of the kids grew impatient by the minutes and finally went out in search of them after calling the guy’s cellphone number and learnt, “Switch off”
She eventually confronted the school authority who confirmed that the kids were carried by the usual tricycle driver. Hence, she ran to the guy’s house and caught him with his luggages on the verge of taking off.
Involuntarily, she threw herself at him and began shouting and crying in great anguish and just in time, a crowd, big enough to cause heavy traffic gridlock, gathered. The angry mob descended on the the guy mercilessly until he almost gave up the ghost, then he agreed to a take them to the ritualist’s den.
But by the time they eventually got there,in dismay, the crowd found 4 headless kids tied to a stick each. However, the police authority have been alerted by informants and was just in time to hijack the guy from the mob. As at now, investigations is ongoing to ascertain the cause of the incident and to nab other associates involved in the case.
