Rihanna has been revealed as the new face of French fashion brand Balmain.

The stylist singer will front the label's ad campaign for its spring range, which is expected to launch across a range of fashion titles in January.

Speaking about casting the star, the Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing wittily described her as "the only girl in the world".
