Beyoncé’s father has suggested that his daughter and her husband Jay Z deliberately circulated divorce rumours to boost ticket sales for their On The Run tour.
While Beyoncé and Jay Z have only put on a united front in recent months, they have continually been hit by allegations that they will be announcing their decision to end their marriage imminently.
Mathew Knowles has claimed daughter Beyonce hyped up rumours of a split from Jay Z to boost ticket sales for their On The Run tour.
Mathew claimed these things are hyped ‘sometimes to ignite that tour.’ He explained: ‘It’s called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of times.’
According to Radar Online, he added: ‘I know, because we’ve done this. From experience, there’s a tour going on.’
Mathew was implying that daughter Solange and son-in-law Jay Z ‘knew’ their infamous elevator fight in May was being recorded.
