The Emir of Kano, Sultan of Sokoto and the Emir of Katsina were in Aso Rock this evening where they broke their fast with Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan.
The occasion is the first time the new emir of Kano and the president are meeting face to face since their public falling out over the alleged missing $20billion. Sanusi was later removed as the governor of the CBN by President Goodluck Jonathan, but in a remarkable twist was announced as the new emir of Kano following the death of Emir Ado Bayero.
