Chris Brown has been ordered to spend 131 days in jail after admitting to violating his probation, stemming from the 2009 Rihanna case.
The singer appeared in a Los Angeles court on Thursday and admitted the violation, after him and his bodyguard were accused of getting into a fight in Washington in October, and were later arrested.
They both now stand accused of punching a man in the face and breaking his nose.
A judge sentenced Brown to a year behind bars but the singer got credit for his 116 days already spent in rehab, plus another 59 days in jail, leaving 131 days to serve.
The judge also reportedly took into account that he was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Brown could have received as much as four years in jail.
He will also reportedly have to attend therapy sessions two times a week.
The star, dressed in standard orange prison overalls, blew his cheeks out as he was pictured in court and closed his eyes - looking worn out and unhappy.
He looked tired last week too as he sat silently next to his lawyer during a hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court.
The RnB bad boy has been in jail since 14 March after he was kicked out of rehab for breaking three internal rules.
Brown's bodyguard has refused to speak under oath until his appeal is completed.
The judge agreed to allow the 25-year-old star and his bodyguard to have separate trials, as Hollosy will act as a defence witness.
Hollosy's sentencing is set for June 25, the same day as Brown's next hearing, according to reports.
