'Famous and frustrated is the most irritating f**king thing’: Kanye West rails at his critics in yet another rant... as he compares himself to Ralph Lauren

He could never be described a shrinking violet.
And Kanye West was up to his old grandiose antics again at the launch of Art Basel Miami on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old gave a speech to guests at the Delano Beach Hotel in Miami, Florida, in which he railed at his critics and spouted off a slew of controversial thoughts.

The rapper, who was partaking in an hour-long panel discussion with architect Jacques Herzog, hinted that he was the 'next Ralph Lauren,' claiming there's a 'new frontier,' reports RadarOnline.
The father-of-one also railed at his critics, referencing his panned music video for his song Bound 2.
'Famous and frustrated is the most irritating f**king thing…like I am frustrated ’cause I made a film and nobody liked it,” he said at another point in the evening.
And another: 'Good taste is a gift, bad taste is a privilege.'
Kanye was as verbose as ever, and made his grand views about himself and the world known.
'If I like it, I like it. No one can tell me who I like or what I’m supposed to be,' he said.
'When I was in art school I would paint music because I could see it,' he said at another point.
Hosted By DuJour Magazine's Jason Binn and designer Tommy Hilfiger with his wife Dee, the event is one of the art world's biggest annual parties and a state-wide calendar highlight.
Kanye was joined by his fiancee Kim Kardashian, who wore a stunning white lace gown with a slash across the chest.
Cutting an elegant figure, she contrasted with Kanye - who shunned smart attire for a pair of jeans, a short-sleeved shirt and casual boots.
