Police probe after newborn baby boy is 'dumped' in a ladies' toilet on New Years' day.

Police have launched an investigation after a newborn baby was apparently dumped in a ladies' toilet.
Damage: Baby Olivia was born with a fractured skull and broken spinal cord, which left her brain damaged
The baby boy was discovered on New Years' Day and was rushed to hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.
The boy's mother, who is believed to be from Eastern Europe and in her 20s, was also treated in hospital.
Paramedics who attended the call at the retailer's UK distribution centre, in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, have passed the incident to police.
It is not known who found the baby, who is now being cared for at a specialist neo-natal unit in Leicester.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: 'Police were called by the ambulance service at around 11.15pm on January 1 to reports of the birth of a baby in unusual circumstances at a business premises in Shirebrook.
'The baby was taken to a neo-natal unit where he remains.

'His condition is serious but stable.
