CURE FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE: Drinking cherry juice is 'as good as medication', study claims.

Drinking cherry juice is as good as taking drugs at reducing blood pressure, researchers have found.
People who drank 60ml of cherry concentrate, diluted with water, saw their blood pressure drop by 7 per cent within three hours.
This was enough to slash the risk of a stroke by 38 per cent or heart disease by 23 per cent.
Patients who take blood pressure medication see a similar impact, scientists at Northumbria University said.
Scientists believe cherry juice has such a strong impact on blood pressure because it is rich in phenolic acids ¿ a type of naturally-occuring antioxidant

How many times a week should you REALLY be having sex?

Daily Mail: How much sex makes people happiest? Is there a magic number of times per week the average couple should aim for to keep both partners happy in bed and out?
Traditionally, therapists say sex counts for about a quarter of the total happiness of a relationship.
But new studies reveal all sorts of interesting – and contradictory - evidence on how much sex contributes to long-term relationship satisfaction. Here's the latest on who's happiest doing what.
According to expert Tracey Cox, having sex every day doesn't necessarily make a couple happier or closer
COUPLES WHO HAVE SEX EVERY DAY
If you’re under 25 or in the first throes of your relationship, you’ll put a mental tick beside this one and go back to finding out the latest on Kim and Kanye.
But if you’re a long-term couple or older, the idea of daily sex will probably seem, well, unlikely.
A few years ago, books like 365 Nights: A Memoir of Intimacy grabbed the headlines, chronicling what happened when a long-term couple agreed to have sex every single day, (pretty much) no excuses allowed.

Britain’s worst town for drunken women revealed as police say they're 'as bad as blokes'

A UK police officer said:  “Only a few years ago women in a group might have acted as a calming influence on a party out for the night.
“Now in some towns a group of girls on a serious drinking session can be worse than the men. They can get into all sorts of trouble and end up injuring themselves, losing or damaging their own property – or worse.

“A lot of the problem is down to cheap drink, with women often getting drunk from alcohol they consume at home
before they even hit the town centre.
“People laugh at the pictures of half-naked women lying across pavements paralytic from booze. But it isn’t funny and can end up having really serious consequences for the person concerned.”
