11-Year-Old Girl Stuck In a Washing Machine, While Playing Hide and Seek.

An 11-year-old girl's determination to win a game of hide-and-seek got her into a very sticky situation when she could not get out of her hiding place.
The unnamed child got stuck in a washing machine and despite her family's best efforts - using everything from peanut butter to ice - she had to be freed by emergency services.
The incident took place in Salt Lake City, Utah, when an afternoon of child's play turned serious.

The 11-year-old climbed into the washing machine during a game of hide-and-seek
'They just had their cousins over and they decided to have a fun game of hide and seek,' the girl's mother Nicole Rhoades told KSTU TV.
'She really wanted to win.'

Ms Rhoades, who was not in the house at the time, received a phone call from her older daughter telling her that her sister was stuck in the washing machine
'At that point they had already tried butter, peanut butter, ice - and then she got cold so they poured more water on her.'

When neither Ms Rhoades not any other family member was able to help the girl out, she called 911.
Thank to some very helpful firemen, the drier above the washing machine could be removed, and after cutting open the lid, the girl could crawl out, an hour-and-a-half later.
The girl was bruised and in slight distress, but suffered no injuries.
'It was kind of funny at the end of the day, honestly, you are 11, what are you doing playing in a washing machine! Afterwards we all laughed about it - and she won, all the way.'
