Morbidly obese mother-of-two is told she has less than five years to live if she doesn't lose weight.

A morbidly obese single mother-of-two is jolted into action in tonight's episode of My 600-lb Life after a doctor tells her she's got less than five years to live if she doesn't lose weight.
Tara, 35, from Lafayette, Louisiana, started piling on the pounds as a child and today she tips the scales at 610lbs. Because of the pressure her size puts on her joints she is forced to spend most of her time in bed at her mother and stepfather's home.
But she finally gets the impetus to slim down after a medical specialist warns she probably won't see her young children graduate from high school if she continues to eat six meals a day and do no exercise.
